Default Residential PowerSaver threads

Mods - would it be possible to close each and every PowerSaver thread that comes up?

I think most reasonable electricians will accept these devices are worthless snake oil that are dishonoring the reputation of the trade. Sure, some EC's will still install them knowing the are worthless but for the rest the discussion about them is pointless.

Thumbs up

I agree, all they do is start fights & can't provide irrefutable proof that they work as listed. Also after one member goes as far as to want to buy one and conduct their own test, they still can’t provide the test results from a 3rd part testing agency. I for one am sick of these threads. although very entertaining

Here is what the mods should do, take the real theory and testing that has been posted on the other threads and create a sticky. That way if it comes up we can send them there. I think it is important that the real theory proving these are snake oil is available to EC's installing these thinking they do something of value.

Sounds fine. Do us a favor and link to them and we can make a sticky.

I agree that these threads are pretty redundant since rarely does anyone do a search before posting them.

I can't stop myself, Ken. The plate screws are not straight. It is really bugging my CDO. Can you photoshop them straight.
