Default Security Systems

I saw an article on tv last week saying Home alarm system sales up 25%. My gun dealer said my recent gun purchase is on backorder. Does anybody see a corellation?

When times are tough and the economy is in the toilet people resort to drastic measures. I just bought a fair amount of spare ammo to cover the gap.

You ever think the administration running the country for the past 8 years has something to do with it?

I had to place a sign outside politely requesting any theives to please call ahead 1/2 an hour so I can get through all the locks that we have to keep our "hunting and sporting tools" (can't refer to them as personal protection in Canada) behind.

I have not been paying any attention to any write ups on home security however I have seen an increase in vidio survailance systems, and pretty much every new home has allarm systems installed. I have been considering vidio survailance for my house, shop and yard, walked through it and it is gonna take a minimum of 8 cameras outside, (10 would be better) to cover vehicles and building access points and at least 3 in house (home office)and 2 in the shop, and 2 signs saying "smile your on candid camera" at access points to property. its gonna cost some $$$$ to buy and install, but with tools and materials as a growing target, it would be worth while I think.

I used to have the best security system known to man.

Old widow ladies as neighbors. NOTHING happened in that neighborhood without them seeing it.

Hunting and Sporting Tools........Thank God for the good ole USA and
the right to bear arms. I still like the idea of being required to carry a weapon. Certainly cut down on crime.
