Default service accessory gutter

I had an inspector point out that in Seattle City Electrical Code, no listed gutter can be used on the supply side unless it is a service accessory gutter.

I did not realize that cooper B-line gutters are not service accessory gutters.

Anyone aware of a 4 x 4 gutter that is "service" listed?

I have never heard of a metal wireway or auxiliary gutter being listed as service accessory gutters. The UL whitebook does not seem to indicated any such listing.

Also the NEC does not require metal wireways to be listed.

Apparently Seattle does not allow any type of auxiliary gutter at all in front of the switch. Only busways. The message from the supervisor had said service accessory BUS gutter.

Very confusing stuff.

Very few options for line side installation. "Reserved", which follows the lined out items, does not mean anything apparently. Just a typo/glitch, according to the city tech.
