Default Share neat Toys for New Year

Thought maybe everyone could share a few toys or gadgets with others to help us all make more money. Here are a few I've bought and loved to start with

1. Pipe Python http://uk.video.yahoo.com/watch/224145/619312

2. Wire Doctor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQesUJEeOdU

3. Inspection Camera http://www.professionalequipment.com...200/index.html

4. Books http://www.code-electrical.com/mcombo4.html

5. Arlington Fittings http://ecmweb.com/video/arlington-mc-cable-connectors/

6. MCAP http://ecmweb.com/video/southwire-roadshow-200907/

7. Wire Grabber http://www.aifittings.com/whnew165.htm

8. Lenox Gold Blades http://www.electricsmarts.com/video/...lenox_gold.htm

9. Best Damn Multi-Tool ever bought http://www.sears.com:80/shc/s/p_1015...3&blockType=G3

When it goes bad just return it and get a new one for free. Haven't paid for one in 4 years.

My take on the wire doctor. Toy. Could be useful for some troubleshoot jobs but will always find its way into the wrong untrained hands (read home inspectors here) . A receptacle outlet might test just fine when using it, but that receptacle outlet might be a non tamper proof, gfi outlet serving the kitchen countertop, on the same circuit as the washing machine, the garage plugs, the bath receptacle outlets, the fridge and the freezer and the kids room outlets and you get the idea. It doesn't know code, and neither do the HI's most of the time. If they included Crofts American Electrician's Handbook with each purchase and saw too it that every purchaser goes thru 5 years of training in the field then it would be ok to market it to the public by me.

I have the ideal version of that. I bought on ebay used, I think from a home inspector. I haven't used it to solve any problems yet, but its kind of cool. Too much information for the untrained for sure. Its a little slow to use if you are testing all the plugs on a new install.
