siemens breaker in a sq d QO panel
never in 28 years have i seen this. looks like a siemens breaker made to fit a QO panel anyone seen this

i know my helper took photos with his cell phone and e-mailed them to me but i'am having problems posting them

I've seen a few of then over the years.
If I remember, they were even listed for use in QO panels.
I've actually seen more of them installed on OEM bases in control panels than in actual QO panels.

They are called Siemens QD. They are UL classified for use in SQD QO panels.

My supplier that does not stock Sq D but does carry Siemens has these breakers. I use them occasionally.

Exactly what Larson said, I actually have a few bouncing around the shelves in the shop, and the supply house I used to work at had them as well. I like to toss them to a newish guy who thinks he's got a handle on things and watch the expression on his face when he flips it over...

Cutler hammer does too. It's a chq, and its rated for use in a qo panel, problem is, they cost more than qo's and don't have a trip indicator
