what is the requirements for receptacles in a house with a slab foundation, do they have to be GCFI protected, they floor is concrete, designed to look like wood.
the same as any other. GFCI in the bathroom and kitchen. AFCI in all circuits that have outlets in the bedrooms (in '08 code it changess to all 15 and 20 amp circuits with some exceptions for certain dedicated circcuits.)
Just the standard areas, then. (210.8) Kitchen counters, bathrooms, etc.
