I think can you can get canned or tubed patch crap for mortar type stuff.... I feel like I've seen it at Sherwin. I go there and get stuff for wood siding patches never needed it for mortar.

I spoke to a few Masons about using that stuff in the tube, they all told me to buy the little 10 pound bucket and mix it myself. It only takes a minute or two and it makes a solid patch.

Filling a hole with that stuff is one thing, but to patch around a fixed item like a meter can or similar item can be a problem. It expands as it dries. I had patched around a disco with this and a part of the cement that blew out was adjacent to a window. When the patch dried it had pushed into the plastic frame of the replacement window. It generated a call back to fix the window. I have since learned to respect hydraulic cement.

Since I always do what I'm told, here's the update: The God of Thunder smiled on me today and I didn't have to patch .

I can't believe you wrote that.

EVERYONE knows that plutonium corrodes like CRAZY.

It's so bad that it has to be plated in nickel.

Don't you know ANYTHING ?

Someday, some day... you'll make it up to a full dollar -- and be a complete Loonie.

Until then, you're stuck a cent short.

When will you ever add up ?

@MechanicalDVR's work? I'd doubt it

I am betting he, like me, suffers from the sickness* and has to put nitrile gloves on to even click and drag all those images with the crookedy crap.

You DUNCE.

No such thing as pennies in Canada.

We are a highly evolved nation.

99 cents is rounded up to a dollar. I add up already.

Maybe with all my extra pennies I will build a warm box for PVC conduit.

Absolutely not, I'm very OCD about anything I do. It was a pic sent to me by a friend.
