Default Stupid Question here

Is there anyway to tell by looking at the numbers listed on the powerbase meter whether or not my home has 200 amp service incoming? My meter says "200cl 240V 3W".

I agree with brian john, Check the main circuit breaker in the panel. Meter sockets are rated for amperage, but (in my experience) there's no difference between meters on 200 amp or 100 amp services.

I've never seen a meter that was differentiated, i believe all of the newer meters would be good for 200A
