Default Toggle switches on power strip

I always unplug various items from teh power strip, and I was wondering how I should go about installing toggle switches into the power strip.

Has it been done?

Which voltage can I put the switch on? (I would just cut one wire, and put the switch in between the 2 wires)

I would think that the 110 would be the one to bypass, so that the ground is always connected.

Any ideas?
