Default top notch work

I was browsing through some old pictures and found this one.

The fuse was blown on C phase so they just jumpered it with a piece of #12.
Not to mention everything on the load side are #12 and the fuses are 60A.

I like when the blown fuse is replaced with a piece of copper pipe.

The fuse should have been replaced. This could be overcurrent protection for some motors. That would explain the seemingly oversized 60 amp fuses.

History channel had a special on copper last night, likely a repeat but they showed temperature limitations between copper and aluminum. Special may have been on DIY network.
