Default Training courses?

I'm wanting to take some courses on VFDs, PLC, and motor controls. Anyone know of any good courses in the midwest or at home study courses?

I really think that manufacturers literature is probably the best way, unless you can get your hands on some actual equipment to wrench on.

Supply houses put on training classes on this type of stuff all the time, normally given by a manufacturer's rep. Most often, these classes (workshops, really) are free. I recently went to an all day class for a particular brand of motion controller, and it was at a supply house that mostly deals in bearings and belts. Go figure. Went to a really nice VFD class at a shop that sells and rewinds motors. Gotta keep your eyes peeled.
