Default Colt Firearms - NoArk disconnect.

Saw this disconnect on an old coal fired boiler in an apartment building a couple weeks ago. I didn't have my regular camera on me, so I took a cell phone pic. Hard to believe that the Colt Firearms company once made electrical materials.

Any idea what caliber it was? Semi-auto or revolver?
