Default Work in industreal

Hello to you all, Was wondering if you can give me your advice if anyone here can. i work as an Electricain for a large industreal company and they are looking to have some work done on the electrics. its been a really big pain in the ass.. first i went round with a clamp metter and by doing so i have found out that the main supply witch is rated at 400 amps. the factory is using 350amps of that. now we have new machines comeing in and i need to put in a sub main board rated at 250 amps. with the additional load you can see what will happen. now i am being asked weather we can take a feed from the other part of the factory witch has its own supply. completly diferent building and feed the one factory from that. fire and central networks have told me that they normal have one supply in each building and the supply to each building needs to have one point of isolation for the fire services.

My Qestion to you is what would you do in this situation.

On another note. can you give me the formula for calculating watts to amps for a three phase supply or is it P/ 1.73/v
many thaks

Default this should help

try this http://www.electriciansforums.co.uk/...2Fformulas.htm
i think this is what you need
also i would enquire with your electricity supplier on how much it would be to upgrade your incoming supply to suit your factory needs if the fire people need a means of isolation in each factory seems fair to me .
