only problem is my documentable hours - here is the story : i left my job of 7 years as a railroad contractor - we sprayed weeds on the railroad - sounds simple huh - we were an OEM for our equipment - every nozzel on these things was computer controled and we had to manufacure (with commercially availble parts) and maintain them - lots and lots of relays and solinoids - but 90.2 (B) (1) clearly states railroad rolling stock is exempt - so is all of this experience nil and void to the inside wireman - we had 3208 cat generators on our trains that powered everything from our microwave oven to 20hp electric motors and the CCTV cameras that we hooked up to the lead unit so we could see. Troubleshooting this equipment was a nightmare. after working for 7 years i left - tired of living in motels - ended up in new orleans after katrina , worked off books for a while as an electrician - finally figured out what the grounded conductor was for and became a fair wireman - got a job with a legit contractor and worked for a while - changed contractors and started working where im at now - small commercial contractor - learned a little about bending pipe and a few other things
so.... i dont want to be a second year apprentice with the level of knowledge i have but i am looking at this pretty seriously
any info is appreciated
