You honestly trying to sell Fed Pac breakers to electricians? You sure picked an interesting group to market to... the same group of people who are trying to rid the world of them. Might have better luck on eBay. I think they sell them for a dollar a pound on there.

Give me $50. Pay shipping and I'll buy them.

Bolt, I think the point is we all have boxes of this kindling from replacing services. I keep a few on hand for the rare times I might need a replacement or added breaker. Other than that I throw away 50 for every one I keep.

Occasionally I add or replace a FPE breaker, rather than replacing the panel. I hate it, but when I do so, I buy a breaker with a warranty. My favorite supplier has new replacement breakers at a better price than the big box stores. They are junk, but they have a warranty.
There is also a local supplier of "surplus" electrical parts. They have breakers of all types, ages, and sizes. I-line 200 amp? No problem. All have been tested (don't ask me how) and are under warranty.
What I'm trying to say is, your breakers have absolutely NO resale value to me.

Just get rid of them. They're not safe to use in any situation. My company does switchgear and breaker testing and one day (just for fun) I set up a Challenger/FPE breaker on a high current test set and let it cook. It buzzed and smoked (I think) but it wouldn't trip until I really soaked it. I think one did not trip at all that I remember. Many houses have been burned to the ground (I'm certain) because of those old breakers. And, if you sell them, are you going to guarantee them and be liable if they don't trip under a dead short???

Have they been tested? Do they come with a test report and waranty?
Seriously, any electrician that buys used breakers needs to understand the liability they accept when doing so. Protective devices must be tested per industry standards, so either the breakers come with a test report or the person that buys them needs to test them, and few electricians have the equipment to do so.

I no longer save FPE breakers. Why use a product that is 30 years old and was questionable to begin with? Connecticut Electric sells new replacements for FPE panels, they are expensive, but well worth the peace of mind. Good Luck with your sale.
