Fluke 1630
I was a apprentice for a journeyman that retired, he gave me alot of his tools when he retired, I got laid off and need to make the house payment. I'm hoping to sell as few as posible so this is the only one up for sale right now.
It shows normal wear on the case from riding in the truck, there's very little wear on the tool it's self. I am asking 1000.00 OBO ( Or Best Offer ) I'm hoping to not get slamed in here I'm just wanting to sell this and make my house payment.
If you need more pics I can email them to you. I know I am new here but I will exchange any personal info needed with the buyer.

You are right....House payment also needs to be made...I am selling only what I didn't use much. That's why I said I was selling as little as possible..

Good idea, Down side: I doubt he'd get anywhere near the true value of it. Also, if he can't pay the money back, he's out the meter.

There's always Ebay, start the bidding at 60% of retail, that’s about as much as you can expect to get for a used piece of equipment. Make sure you word your title carefully, if not you won't get as many potential buyers viewing your meter. Write in a lot of detail about your situation, it'll explain why you don't have any previous purchases/sales.
You could always start at a higher percentage; whatever you need to pay the bills but you'll have less of a chance of getting any bidders.
Good Luck.

That is why I explained my situation here and I made the price.....OBO. If it does not sell here then I will have to ebay it, I am hoping it sells so I don't have to go through the 7 day auction waiting game thing.

Generally about 20% of the cost they can sell it for. Don't pawn the meter. Is that a ground resistance meter?

I think you can make it buy it now or even shorten the auction. I hope everything works out for you.
