Default Postcard Permits - Baltimore County

I have four postcard permits for Baltimore County that I purchased a couple of years ago. They are not written on and I will sell them for $15 each. E-mail me if interested.

Are you for real? The county that I work in will give you the placard when you get the permit for the work that you are going to do.

Tool, you are such a 'tool'. Just because something is done in someone elses county and not in your precious county does not mean they are not professionals.

William, in my county you can purchase postcard permits for one time use items as follows: Signs 0-10amps, Smoke Detectors (up to 10 per building), Anntennas, CAC(no new furnace), Telephone Systems (1&2 family dwellings), Solar Units, Water Heaters, Burglar Alarms (1&2 family dwellings) and Special Services (one Extra Inspections) The special services is what "TOOL" would use them for because he is not good enough to pass any inspections the first time.

They way these work is a MASTER electrician, unlike TOOL, would fill it out with all the necessary information, keep copy one, display copy two at the site and mail in copy three to schedule the inspection. These are great when you do not have time to get to the permit office to pull a permit. I use to do alot of smoke detectors when the codes for rental houses changed in my area requiring all existing rentals to now have hardwired smoke detectors with battery back-up.

Around here we can pull permits online for the simple projects like service change outs, ACunit change outs and so on. How about where you are?

On-line permit applications, are you kidding? The inspectors don't even have email.

Only recently have they even gotten a phone in ispection request. Just don't call after 8 PM.

Some of our counties do on-line permitting. I think that is better that sliced bread. It saves me so much time.

Hell I even have a printer in my car.
We have Nextels, laptops, and printers in our vehicles.
We use air cards and "hotspots" around the county to access the internet.

Sounds like the counties that the both of us work in are pretty close.
