Default Anyone ever used this

http://www.aifittings.com/products/spec-sheets/8161.pdf

I am looking at 8161 CB on the second page

How/why would you get the wire there in the corner, not to mention they the light on what appears to be drywall

According to AI, there is not an "incide" option.

All KO's are external on the dome.

Here is some detailed installation options under the assumption that that what you are working with is low voltage:

  • Come down inside the wall with the cable to a single gang old-work low-voltage work box. Install a plastic cover w/1/2” KO. Use a ½” 2 screw connector on the cover and one on the 8161 CB.
  • Come down inside the wall with the cable to a single gang old-work low-voltage work box. Install a plastic cover w/1/2” KO. Use a 3/8” LFNC whip to the 8161 CB.
The combinations are almost unlimited and it just depends on costs, matching what is there already and what kind of customer it is. For example if it was a bank you might want to use high end materials.

the light they show is on an exterior corner, there would be no way put an old work box in unless you cut the stud out, to me it seems very impractical
