Lightbulb Discrimination for a residential

Does anyone know how to make discrimination in a residential with only IEC 60898 MCBs in the Main distribution board ? I mean if there is a faulty electric circuit, only D3 circuit-breaker trip (opens), but the D1 & D2 circuit-breakers remains closed (i.e. only the circuit-breaker placed immediately upstream of the fault will trip) How to coordinate the current rating, breaking capacity, tripping curves for the D1, D2, D3 MCBs ?
