Default landscape well lights- burn out

hi,
i have a 0.25kva 12volt back-boost transformer for landscape lights. there are 2 cables coming out for the transformer. one cable goes to driveway lights and the other one goes to 2 well lights(35watts) and 1 spot light (50w mr-16).
the problem im having is that 2 well lights keep burning out after a day or two. the spot light is not affected and is at the end of the circuit. i replaced all wiring between them and back to the transformer. still happening. tried different brands of bulbs. i removed a spot light from the crt. and 2well lights worked for a week. but then i reinstalled the spot light and they burnt out next day. the whole crt is 8' to 12' from the transformer.
any ideas?
please help

Some transformers have a voltage choice. Obviously the lights closer to the trany must be getting more voltage than 12V. Try lengthening the wire and see if that helps.

it's a back-boost transformer and i cant adjust the voltage. lights used to work without any problems for 8-10 years. i will check the voltage with the load at each bulb.
thank you for your response
