Default Main panel ?

Meter base feeds main-breaker indoor panel directly behind it and also feeds an exterior small load center directly next to it with just (3) 2-pole breakers. My question is, can you double up wires on meter lugs? I don't think you can but can't recall ever seeing double type lugs in a meter base.

I think I would be more worried first with the grouping of your service disconnects... but to answer your question it depends on the listing of the lugs. I can't recall any factory meter socket lugs that permit more than one conductor per terminal.

Cvec and rappahannock both supply me with 320's and 180's both with the capability of double lugging. They ask me when I get the meter base if I nneed single or double lugs

As for this arrangement, it was existing. I don't see a code violation although it would've been nicer feeding from one panel to another versus both being treated as main panels. Im not near my book, I could be wrong.
