Nothing wrong with starting at 23, I'll be 24 in march and just about into my second year of apprenticeship. I could never get ahold of anyone at the IBEW so I went to a private trade school. If you can afford the loans ($20k worth) its definately worth it, everyone i graduated with has a good job and a few got into the union too.

Going in for my test Wed, 26th at 8AM, I JUST noticed on an adobe information sheet, that ETI sells a study guide for 14.00 or whatever, Just noticing this the day before the test, Should I have bought this or is it just the same as the sample questions given on the IBEW website?

22 at my start, former truck driver. Electrical was my second job.
Working for/under little 18 year old "pukes" who knew everything.

Did'nt take long to realize, they knew a sh&* load!! Payed attention and never looked back!!!

Go for it!! You won't regret it!!!
