Default First year apprentice from Montana

Hello,

Finally got some time to start checking out this great website. Thought I would start by introducing myself.

My name is Scott, I am a first year apprentice working and living in Kalispell, MT.

I applied to the JATC in May of 2007, and started working in the beginning of June, this year.

I feel so fortunate to be an apprentice in this program, and absolutely love my job. The crew I work with are some great guys.

Anyways, if anybody out there lives in Montana, let me know. I am still trying to find somebody to room with at school in Helena, lol.

Yes, the sheep are cuddly, and they do indeed spend a majority of their time running scared!

Brian, I am a member of Union 768, and work for a local contractor who does strictly commercial stuff. I think they do industrial as well, but nothing around where I live.

I am currently working with 3 other Journeymen, and one 3rd year apprentice, at our local Electrical Co-op. We are doing all the electrical on a big maintenance building. I am cutting my teeth doing alot of conduit fabrication off of scissor lifts. I started working on this project about three weeks ago- up until then, I was doing alot of small hospital jobs.
