Default Hello from Toronto, Ontario!

Hello everyone heres a little about me:

I was born and raised in winnipeg, manitoba and finished my highschool in ontario and started my apprenticeship non union right after that. I recently got my licence feb 2011 and since then i have learned more then my entire apprenticeship.

Im currently a member of local 353 out here in toronto and so far loving it, lots of good people working out of this local and a wide varity of work. Learning lots every week and these forums are pretty interesting to read but I really never had time to make a account.

Anyways thats all for now, hope to get to know some of you guys

Question Local 353

Exactly how did u get into the union. I served my whole apprentiship non-union and even turned down an opportunity to go union when there was a takeover attempt on my company, but now that the company I work for is going down, I regret not going union. How did you get in if you served your apprentiship non-union.
Thanks,
Non-union sparky
