I grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin as well. One brother lives in plover, other brother in Monroe, Wisconsin and my sister lives in superior, Wisconsin.

It's really nice up there. I lived there until i was thirteen, got kicked out because i don't like cheese. LOL

Ahh I have see a other Wisconsin person show up in here as well.,
However one part yeah I do live in Wisconsin but not right now due I am still in France for last couple years ( I can go back and forth without much issue but watch the stupid airports ya will know why )

I grew up in Menomonee Falls. Now in N Cali via New York and Florida.
I get to visit my mother once a year in Oconomowoc.
Miss them brats!

I have a cottage which I used from time to time and that location is not super far from ya.
It called Island Lake ( part of chain lakes area )

Kinda pretty busy in France and the rules are a bit differnt than what it was used in state side kinda eye opener but few instering fact that some of the NEC code is actually parallel with our Nomes de France ( French regulations ) so that help a bit.
And for voltage over in France is 240 volts Line to Netural and Oui ., we do have 415 volts triphase ( Line to Line )

You should check Water Street in Eau Claire that street is chockfull of bars you can not miss it ( worst time to be there is Universty homecomming game that street will be packed like nuts )

Been there when a Badgers play a good game espcally with homecoming time.
A tip for others plan ahead for a place to stay for a nite otherwise your collage buddy can spring ya a room or something to crash it once you are loaded with booze.
