Default Hey From NC..New Member...

Hi..just dropped in a search and found this site...very cool.

I'm 36, a US Marine here in Camp Lejeune NC, and am pending a medical retirement within a few months.

I'm planning on going back into the electrical construction industry, as it's all I really know, and honestly, aside from my 14 years in the Marine Corps, all I want to do with my life.

Hope to hear from you guys (and gals) and I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions...

For experience, I'm originally from Maine, attended a 2 year Technical College, and was a Journeyman in Maine for a few years before the Corps.

Welcome

Poke around a little and see if you have any input.

Best of luck on your career after your discharge.

Hey..yup...I know you guys fo' sho'....I worked with Seabee's in both Guam and Sierra Leon in Africa on a few things.

I spent time aboard the USS Blueridge (LCC-19) and the USS Nassau (LHA-4) during my time.

Had the unique opportunity to become an Emerald Shellback while we crossed the equator and the whole ceremony thing
