Default New guy here from Long Island, NY!

Hello guys,

I found this forum doing a google search and decided to join after looking around for awhile. Here is a little bit of info about me. Im 30yrs old and worked in the insurance field for about 5-6yrs. Didnt really like what I was doing there so I decided to do what I enjoy doing which is electrical work. Ive been doing this work for a few years off and on (side stuff or helping out family/friends). Since I enjoy doing it so much I went to a hands on trade school and became a Cert. Electrical Technician. Graduated with a 3.98 GPA while learning alot. The theory classes were ok but I really enjoyed the hands on stuff most.

Because of how good I did at the school they hired me back after graduation to become a TA (Teacher Assistant) which is ok for now because its p/t. But now im looking into either joining the union or if I could get some loans for money and other things try to open up my own company with someone I know backing me.

Well thats pretty much it for now. See ya around guys.
