New guy from NY
Hey fella's, I just moved from Georgia to Wappingers Falls, NY because my g/f wanted to be closer to her family. So i'm currently looking for a job as well living with her parents for now and i feel like i'm a teenager all over again here. I thought the union up in the north could help me out, but i called them up and they told me they just laid off about 1,200 people so that killed my union hopes, now currently harassing (not really, just checking applications) private contractors to gve me a job.
sorry for the ranting.. but it felt good to let that out

Welcome to the forum Posey.
The union is not that big up here, and on top of that they are dead slow. Quite a few private contractors are doing very well though.
Things are definitely picking up.
