Default mini video cameras

I'm considering investing in a mini video camera with a flexible arm to see inside walls or tight spaces. Has anyone any recommendations on a specific brand? They usually come with a display and you can see whats going on as you move it. Also if you do own one, was it worth the expense?

thanks

Saw this on sale for $99 and thought it was worth a flyer. Works well. I wasn't sure I would find it useful, but it has totally been worth it.

We have the rigid one and it has paid for itself ten fold. The newer one has an SD card and will take still pics. We use it mostly for fishing and Reno work it sure helps finding the end of the fishtape or sticks.

Turns out you can't tell distances with the camera. Fire blocking looks just like a top plate.

so I bought this one and tested it out:

http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/42...deo_scope.html

I must say I had great difficulty having my camera at the right angle to see properly. The imagine quality and lighting was excellent. Much like another posted pointed out, its difficult to tell the depth and if you are looking at a top plate or at a chunk of food halfway up the wall. I paid
167$ including taxes, so pretty good price. I checked out other ones who are well above 300$ and most were not even as good as this one.

so am i in love with it? the jury is still out on that one. I have to use it a bit more to see if it will really be a useful tool for me. I must say it definetly helped on the fishing!

Get the glow fish sticks and a black light flashlight- works awesome in a dark attic.
