Big for me, 36kW. 96 panels, 4 inverters. It was cold today. Tomorrow the wind chill will be too low to work up there. Friday is going to be a balmy 9 above so will try to get the rest up then. I just thought Mac would like the working conditions.

Sorry to hear that! I fell down stairs Tuesday and my leg is black from my waist to the knee. But I know it will get better. Sucked having to lay on it today.

I have never seen Sandy Beach or Makapuu get so calm and still as today. Zero wave heights. Like a lake . This be some kind of Voodoo weather.

How many days a year are the panels covered with snow/ice?

December, January, February for sure. But you don't get much energy in the winter anyway. So grid tie panel orientation is maximized for summer. Now if it was offgrid, then I set them at 45 degrees and a pole mount so they can be swept. Smaller systems too.

The mount I use can move between 15 and 65 degrees. You could put an electric actuator on it. I thought a vibrator would work too.

I've not been around stead for a while, so I missed any reports on how your knee is. Surgery went OK? Your comment about it being brand new sounds like it was a success, I hope so.

Iirc Mr Backstay was down for around a month, but back in action now

He is one of the many trade related health events here, enough so that it could rate it's own forum section.....

Ya can't keep a good spark down!
