Default 2011 NEC Draft vs. 2011 NEC

I am currently on the 2008 NEC, but I like to have a copy of the most current edition on hand to participate in code discussions here. I currently only have the 2011 draft .pdf available to me. Is there any significant difference to the final copy? One of the benifits of being a cycle behind is that I can get my next cycle fairly cheap. I purchased the 2008 with Significant Changes brand new for $40.00 on eBay last year, so I won't be getting a hard copy of the 2011 for a couple more years.

I don't want to quote a draft article to find out it doesn't really exist and look like a fool more than I already am.

I know that, but to be honest, it will just gather dust. I just opened up my 2008 last weekend. I have the .pdfs on my computer and can search a lot quicker.

The draft does not contain any of the changes from the ROC or those made on the floor of the NFPA meeting.

It does contain one section that is missing from the first printing, the pdf, and the one online at the NFPA site. 690.62

In general the draft has well over 90% of the code correct, but there is no way to know if the section you are working with is correct without checking. I guess you could use the draft .pdf, and then check with the online version to make sure there were no changes.
