Default Aircraft Hanger

Need to hook up a new well is inside an aircraft hanger building.

The well switch is in a room that is isolated from the area were aircraft are stored. The panel is in the main hanger area.

The way I read it (2008 NEC) is as long as I'm over 18" above the floor, more that 5' from any part of plane fuel tank or engine, that it's not a classified location, so it may be in EMT.

Do I have it right?

Thanks

That's the way I see it as well. Using these rules I've never had a problem with an inspection.

When I have wired airplane hangers in the past that is the rule we followed and we never had any problems. I have wired a few hangers and they were very fun jobs!! I enjoyed them very much!!
