Question Bonding and Grounding

Are metallic doors of telecommunications room required to be bonded/grounded?

Considering you are an electrical inspector, and are halfway around the world from pretty much everyone on this site, I think your local code book would be the best place to find this information. Or maybe a spec from the telecom guys.

Typically they are tied to the halo ground of the room, this is more related to company or the engineers specs that the NEC.

I don't know the answer...yet. Could you describe the floor plan of the room/building? How far it is from a tower?

It's up to the telco. All of the work I do for them I see the doors bonded to the frame and the frame bonded to their grid. If your in Saudi working for the U.S. I would strap them. Telcom equipment doesn't like foreign voltages. That 's a true statement but it's kind of funny when you read it.

I might have seen that door bond method before, it's like control panel covers.
