Code change proposal
Has anyone here ever submitted a code change proposal? Is there a specific way to go about it?

Several times but never had any accepted. It's as simple as submitting the proposal form in the back of your nec. The instructions are on the top of the form. That being said you have to be very clear and precise with your revision and your substantiation for your proposal. Good Luck!

Look in the back of every code book... the form and timetable are there. It's too late for the '11, but you can always shoot for the '14.
Either way, contact the NFPA and ask for a copy of the ROP and ROC. They can provide a great insight into the process.
An now, back to my chesse.

Maybe it's because I only have the handbook, but I can't for the life of me find that form in it.

Because it's a handbook, not a codebook.
