Default Help!! Can't find the answer?????

I took my masters test again yesterday.......2nd try.
Pretty sure I nailed it this time, but one question is stuck in my head and I am having a hard time finding the right answer..............here goes.....

Question: Which type of wire listed below can have NO substitutions???
A. MP
B. MPP
C. CM
D. CMP

Has to be in 800 somewhere?????

760.61 says some things about substitutions......
725.61 + 800.154 have charts called cable substitution heirarchy.....
only place that I see MPP is in 800.179(G)??????

800.154 (G) is Cable substitutions.......says to use the table 800.154

No listing for MPP or MP so I am assuming since CMP is at the top of 800.154 that no substitutions are allowed for it??

I answered the q. with "cmp" did I miss??????

I see Table 800.53 and it appears all have a permitted substitution.

Imagine that, a test question without a correct answer. First time that ever happened.

I would say CMP. In 800.170 figure 800.154 shows a hierarchy with CMP at the top. (2005 NEC)

Sorry, I was looking at my 02. your right, moved to .154 in 05.

Just for the heck of it. If you have your 02, look at .53. Mpp and Mp are shown there. Your test was based on the 05 right?

I just looked at my 02'...............dang.
I think they lied to us when they said it was based on 2005 code. The MPP is the answer if it is the 02' I put CMP.........
