None, I would plant a ground bar in the trough where the EMT terminates. And if i'm in a hacking mood, I'll just loop one #12 around a ground screw and twist all the others to it with a jumbo blue wirenut.

If your conduit system is in order...you don't need a separate egc. It does not hurt to have one though.

You're worried about the EGC, but I'd be more concerned about locating all those 1/4 amp breakers after derating 72 circuits.

Well, 7 amps. But, it's all hypothetical situations..

You should have said, "PVC" the thread would have been 1/2 as long, if that.
