Default generator lighting hookup

am hooking up 4500watts to a5000watt generator, using 3 circuits at12 and half amps each.Lights and emt will be mounted on metal shipping containers.THERE will be water on asphalt. Do I need a grounding rod and does it up to the container? the generator will be operating inside one of the containers. There will also be 2 receptacle boxes for a 120v 20amp circuit wired to the same generator
