Default Installing fuses in Metal Halide fixtures?

Ok, I had a new request today, and curious to know if any of you guys have any input on this one.

Here is the language of the request:

Quote:
Please install fuses before the ballasts. All 88 fixtures may not require a fuse but all 88 fixtures will need inspected for either installation of new fuse or confirmation of pre-existing fuse. Where fuse is existing, no action will be required. Please identify and quote appropriate fuse.
This is for a relamp project that is moving from 175W MH lamps to 150W Pulse Start. No ballast change is required, but I have to say I have no idea on the fuse issue. I don't have details, but I'm assuming some dirty electricity is causing premature failures and high maintenance costs? So now a fuse will just be popped instead of a lamp or ballast?

Any suggestions on type of fuse, pics of what they look like, links, etc would be appreciated. I have requested more info, but these type of bids come to us without a ton of details sometimes. Out of state, so need to make sure we get it right the first time. Thanks.

Wouldn't you just use a simple in-line fuse? That's what it sounds like they are asking for.

Apparently this is what is in there:

Yeah, not a biggie. Just had not had a call for these before. We rarely do any repair on what we consider "legacy" equipment, so this was simply something we had not had a request for. Thanks.
