    i dont have rigid set up, but will try to explain better. the rope handle is just so you dont have to hold back pressure of pony. if you have the hog head onto the vice with a different piece of pipe tightened down on the set screw on the hogshead and this pipe is viced down into a tristand you lift the pipe into the head, and the head is alway stationary. im a better shower than speaker i guess. the rope to the pipe that fits in pony can be anchored to the floor as well if you want. this whole setup requires a tristand dedicated for threading large conduit

    The post about the hog head and the 1" or 3/4 pipe and rope could you send me a pic i cant wrap my head around this idea. Also the handle on the pony r u saying that you never set the pony down and it hangs on the rope?. Thanks just looking for easier ways to work smart.
