    OK, you have everything you need there. 2VA x 50,000 = 100,000 VA now multiply times 40% = 40,000. OK ?

    Next remainder @ 20% The remainder of VA required is 6,250. X 2VA = 12,500. 12,500 x 20% = 2500. Now add the the two and you have the right amount 40,000 + 2.500. = 42,500 VA required
    Understand ?

Ok, Yeah I had found the table..

I know that for Sq Ft in a hospital they say to use 2 Volts-Amps
I also found the Demand factor for a Hospital to be at 40% for the first 50,000 and 20% for everything over 50,000..

It's from that point on I'm not sure what to do..
    Each room is 15x25 = 375' x 150 rooms = 56,250sq ft

There is a table that list the amount of ltg load required and should show the demand factor you have to use.

    Hey dronai,

I have a question, I've been going through all of the thought up questions (i'm preparing for my Journeyman's test) and I was going to ask if you can show me how to answer this question you posted? I was at the correct chapters but I'm uncertain of how to calculate it...

A hospital has 150 patent's rooms, each room measuring 15'x25'. What is the lighting load (after demand factors) for these rooms ?
