Default Has anybody used Groupon for there business?

Just curious if any you guys have used groupon for your electrical company? Just trying to think of a clever way that would attract customers like a 50.00 electrical inspectiion or something just to get your foot in the door to sell them more services. Im all ears what you guys think..

I think it's worth giving it a shot if you think it can get you new business. What might work for you, may not work for others. I happen to think a website is the fastest way for people to find about my business. Then I show up on time and do whatever has been approved of in a digital proposal. But what do I know?

i approached them about a year and a half ago. they replied back. they told me they weren't interested in whatever i might want to offer.

Groupon is more focused on food and personal services. You can do the same sort of thing on kudzu, angies list, amazon and maybe yelp. We have tried it. Couple of times with not much success. Have had pretty good results on angies list with an offer for surge whole house protectors though. These types of deals dont cost anything to try but since they take 35-50% we dont offer anything where we cant at least break even.
