It's a good start. I would look at it as a work in progress. Keep at it and always look at ways to improve it. Off the subject but, why are you offering your labor at 50% off during the month of June?

No offense, but how many customers will really refer to you as:

Micheal Adams Electric LLC

????

Too many extraneous capitalizations for me to believe they're genuine. This appears to be a couple of pre-made 'testimonials' where you just fill in the blanks.

You may also want to change Larry's silhouette..... unless he's got long hair.

Looks good..

Keep this in mind..." in the month of June and only be charged a HALF PRICE labor rate! "
(Special is ONLY valid in the month of June and is ONLY for First Time Customers).

I would not put that up because any customers you had before see that then they will think you ripped them off,,,That is how people think.

You want to sell value of Electrical work and get as much money as you can from each job you contract otherwise you will put yourself out of business fast.

Also you want to avoid like the plague giving out labor rates again that gives the customer a number that they can compare to their own salary and before you know it you will be making less per hour than a green helper.

Look up some of the flat rate pricing threads here and learn the system as fast as you can.

Flat rate pricing is giving a "Grand Total price for each job you quote"

Good luck.

He has to use the his real name because he is a Journeyman-when he gets his master license then he can pay the required fee and have a company name ,but it must appear on his master license

Again, why do CUSTOMERS repeatedly refer to him as Micheal Adams Electric LLC?

Do you shop at Wal-Mart, Inc.?

Who cares. If the name works for him, more power to him.

Nice site and that business card looks awesome. One thing I question is, you claim to be able to save 25-55% off someobody's electric bill by changing to cfl's or LED's. I think this is a made up number, as lighting alll totalled is not normally 55% of a customers bill.

If you have a domain, why are you still using gmail? That is a major reason I got a domain. I haven't even made a web page yet. I just use the email with my company name ([email protected]). It seems more professional to me. My opinion, for what it's worth.

So let's begin..

I have to use my full name because I'm a journeyman so until I'm a master it's staying the way it is.

I'm using my gmail account because that's what's on my buisness cards that I had previously made before I decided to have a website.

Because I'm a new company in my area I have customers but would like to obviously have more so I thought if I advertise half price labor or something that would grab people's attention to get my name out there.

I appreciate the opinions! This info will help me become a better business man and company!

I think 480's point is, that a customer would simply say "I called Mike, and he came right away". Or, "My fuse box was on fire, and Mike Adams had the fire out and the lights back on in no time...".

Rarely would a real person say "I called Michael Adams Electric LLC..."

It not a 'smart-ass comment'. It's simply an observation. I hope you don't communicate with your customers like this.
