How much would you mainland guys pay for the same thing? This seems a bit dicey at first thought , but maybe it cost's that much for you too?

That sounds about right. It's been a while since I bought the HCF cable, but i think I was at like $230-ish.

Worst part is I will only need maybe ten or fifteen feet of it. But I'm charging the customer for the whole roll cause I don't need the rest of it. I'm going to charge another hundred for the hassle of going to Graybar to procure it for them. They can have the rest of the roll if they want after they pay. And if they don't want it , then I have a 240 foot roll of HCF for sale cheap- whoop whoop.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/AFC-Cabl...2-00/204794276

$211.19 at HD

I never compared HD prices to supply houses on AFC products so I don't know if I could do better, but that's the most I'd have to pay.

The HDs don't stock it, at least according to their web site none within a two hour radius of me stock it, but they'd ship it in for no additional charge.

Doesn’t mean you can’t use it on another job, it’s just overkill.

I wired a clinic last year. I used it for lighting just to get rid of it.

Pretty rare to find myself working in clinics or health care. Like 25 yr spread rare.

Me too. I have a guy who is building clinics but they’re spaced a year or two apart. Now that I know what I’m doing, they’re okay but the first one was a little bit of a learning experience. One thing I found was it pays to shop for hospital grade devices. The price spread is crazy here, especially for hospital grade GFCI devices.
