We are starting a major undertaking . Recontacting every customer we have had over the last five years. we are looking at close to $700.00 + just in postage the major reason is to introduce our new brand . how often do most of you recontact your base and how far back do you go? We are mainly service so we have a fairly large list each year even with our repeats.
I got a nice stamp from vista print and stamp each envelope. It only takes a few minutes to do ont box of 100 envelopes, and looks alot nicer than a sticker.
I learned this one in college along time ago. It's called the 90/10 rule. Simply put 10% of your customers contribute 90% of your revenue. I would do what your doing, then target those 10%ers if you can. This rule can be applied over and over in the business world. 10% of your employees cause 90% of your problems, you buy 90% of your supplies from 10% of your vendors...if is a funny, strange dynamic.
but true.
well if you do a lotta E-biz you can just spam 'em.....
