For those of you E.C.'s that have had a qualifier in the past. What were some stipulations besides (the amount the qualifier will be paid or not being able to pull license with out a 90 day notice). that you found was a necessary to have in contract before signing?..I'm looking to draft up a contract of course with the help of my lawyer to go into business with my qualifier. I'm doing it on a year to year basis. I should have mine by the summer. But, do to work coming in, Can't wait till summer. Thanks again for you guys input.

Can you just keep your qualifier as an employee. I have found that the "ownership level" is not necessary and can be little too cozy.

If you can each grow your own leg of the business, with your own customers, when the time comes to part ways, and it will, you will each have your own Side of the business to take.
