Default compact car parking spots

I had a person give me a ton of sh!t because I parked my 2 door Jeep Wrangler (JK) in a compact car spot.
I asked them why they didn't think my jeep is compact ? It definitely has limited seating, no trunk, and is only around 160 inches in length. Hell it is shorter then the majority of the cars considered compact ( not sub compact).

Their defense was my gas mileage is not good ! Seriously !
I countered with : the sign says compact car parking -- NOT fuel efficient car parking!
My approach is -- If it fits - I park there - ( unless it is a handicap spot , I wont park in them )

I'd think that unless statutory or admin law defines compact for the purpose of parking in compact spaces, you're fine.

As to someone losing their cool in a parking lot, happens all the time. You don't know what else that person has going on in their life. Smile, wave with all 5 fingers and wish them a nice day.

We are sorry citizen, but because of your infraction, you had two citizen points deducted from your social score and therefore cannot purchase airline tickets at this time.

You sound like a very decent person with that.

I start with that attitude but input from the other person can erode my mood easily.

I feel the same way, if my car fits, I park, except handicap spaces.

I mean I don't know how people survived without their expectant mother spaces right by the entrance or the new one I have seen, parent with toddler spaces... Seriously, GTFOOH! It won't kill you to walk just as far as I have to without those spaces to do some grocery shopping!

I love the fuel efficient vehicle spaces, what is considered fuel efficient? Or the ever great green car parking, too back my car is blue and I say FU!

Our parking spaces are all compact. It's insane.

It amazes me. Even if someone is a proper **** to me I'm so unconfrontational... don't get how you get these people thinking so highly of themselves that they just start on everyone for no apparent reason... get a damn life ey
