Default Drop the puck!

It looks like the Stanley Cup playoffs will go ahead in two Canadian cities. They will tell you the Covid19 numbers up here are better but I’ll tell you the real reason. By the time the cup is awarded, we might have snow on the ground.

It’s a trophy given out annually to an American team playing a Canadian game.

You mean Americans are better at even the Canadian games?!?!

When I was a kid I would go to Ranger/Devil games. It was a cool thing to do as a kid, but I never got into it otherwise.

Give up already. Folklore says it’s a game that originated with tossing frozen horse turds around with a stick on a frozen pond, something you can’t relate to.

Isn't there always snow on the ground in Canada?
I love the snow just as long as I don't have to shovel.

The Canadians don't truly know what that is anymore.

They read stories about it, look at pictures of it, and wish someday they can have it back.

The only way for a Canadian to raise this priceless trophy over his head in glory, is to play for an American team.

(I'll leave now)
