Default Hernias. What a pain!

Just got out of surgery for 2 hernias, wondering how long anyone else was down afterwards. Any pain or problems afterwards?

I had one repaired in 2004 and I was out one day and only one issue, I can still feel a little pressure down their but no bulging and no pain.

Had one done down by my junk back in '93...totally sucked. This was before arthroscopic but cutting through your abdominal wall regardless is going to lay you down for awhile.

That's a common side effect of an opiate.

Sounds good.

8 hours of pink Floyd followed by led zeppelin with a smokey Robinson finish. What a night!

I was told that it was a 6 to 7 week downtime before going back to work. Everyone else was on double time and I convinced a nurse to sign a release form. I went back in three days. I felt it a bit but went back to the doctor after the overtime was over and I am good now.

I also get so itchy from the percs. But the tylenol isn't cutting it just yet.
So pain relief and itchy it is.
Hope all your bits stay inside after your repair!
