Default Life predicted in 1999

This is what everyday life was supposed to be in 1999. Not really that far off except for the analog controls.

At the end there was an image that said Philco Ford. Ford owned Philco from 61-74, so the movie was probably made sometime in that period.

ETA: I found it, 1967: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6294456/

I'm guessing late 1960's or thereabouts just from the video quality. They did get some things real close.

edit:Hack beat me to it. I was spot on though!

Great film. Thanks for posting.

I'm disappointed , they never showed the mom's boobs. It would of been in the interest of science to do so.

The father looked familiar, turns out it is Wink Martindale, who went on to be a game show host for decades.

The mother is the woman who "stole Spock's brain" in the original Star Trek.

The worst Trek episode next to the space hippie episode.

She is 83 years old now. She was in her early 30s when that was filmed.

Agreed...

"Brain and brain! What is brain?"

Classic bad dialog and delivery. She was hot though, that's all that counted in the 60s.

I wonder if anyone predicted that one day you would post electrical things under one username on this forum, and troll with liberal nonsense with another.

MTW literally made more electrical/tool forum-topical posts last night alone than your NewElect account has in it's entire history here.

Even if that account is your "son" or "employee" like you've claimed, shouldn't you be going after him first?
