Default Valentines Day

Today is not about candy, roses, jewelry or lingerie (though all call be grease in getting her panties off).

I just Hope all you schmucks are spending the day with someone that respects and loves you. Man, Woman, (hell both if that is your thing) parents, siblings, children, close friend, dog, cat whoever makes you happy.

I was never a person to live alone but if that is your life plan hopefully you are content.

When you're old, getting the panties off is the easy part.

It was 52 inside downstairs. Both the pellet stove and the furnace going all out. Thawing frozen pipes. It'll warm up this week though.

I forgot it was Valentines day.
I had two friends pass away this week less than two days apart. So I have been consumed with services and wakes.
My wife understands even though she found time to get me something. I feel pretty ****ty at the moment.

Improvise, adapt etc. Find a nice restaurant or make something new and different for dinner. One of the nice things about our relationship is that we don't get too hung up on holidays. I have a card that I haven't given her and she didn't get anything for me. Which is fine. Sounds like a evening out would do some good.

Valentine's Day is just another overrated fake celebration fueled by opportunistic corporations to feed their supply and demand trains. Take a detour, make her breakfast or dinner, etc, and make every day valentine's day by being appreciative.

Took her to Waikiki for breakfast and wore a muted aloha shirt, shorts and flips. Just another Sunday.

But it is really perfect outside by the way.....

We went out last night... I bought movie tickets online... for the wrong time. When I picked them up, they were for the 6 pm show... but I thought it was for 6:45... so we got a refund and went and shot pool

I guess it worked out just right.
